A slow morning at the quiet end of Grace Bay
Where residents swim, walk and buy breakfast before the beach fills up.

Early morning is the best time to see Grace Bay the way residents do: calm water, long shadows and a handful of walkers at the quieter end of the beach.
Before eight o'clock
The water is usually at its clearest before the breeze picks up. Swimmers keep close to shore and leave the reef areas undisturbed.
Breakfast nearby
- Johnny cakes and coffee from roadside vendors.
- Fresh fruit from weekend stalls.
- Bring water and reef-safe sunscreen.
Leave it as you found it
Take everything home, keep away from nesting areas and give fishermen working the shoreline plenty of room.
